RUBINETTERIE UTENSILERIE BONOMI Srl  (hereinafter also RuB Srl) places special attention to the aspects that concern the privacy of its users. With this page, the company would like to describe how its website (www.rubvalves.com) is managed in relation to the processing and the protection of the personal data of the users that access it. This is a general information notice provided in compliance with Regulation (EU) 679/2016 “Regulation on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data” to those who visit the website of RuB Srl. Simply visiting this website, as well as registering on it, may indeed result in the registration, use, erasure and, more generally, in the processing of personal data related to identified or identifiable users. The information notice exclusively concerns the company website of RuB Srl and not other websites that may be visited by the user via links on the pages of this website, for which RuB Srl shall in no way be liable.

TYPE OF DATA COLLECTED

Here is the type of the data collected by RuB Srl through the website www.rubvalves.com:

  • Navigation data
    – The IT systems and the software procedures used for the operation of this website obtain, during their normal operation, some personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This information is not collected so that it may be associated to identified users, but it may, by its very nature and through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow the identification of users.
  • Data provided voluntarily by the user (Art. 4, point 1 of the EU Reg.) – The optional, explicit and voluntary transmission of e-mails to the addresses indicated on the website www.rubvalves.com, as well as the completion of the form (mask) in the “Contacts” section, shall result in the acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary in order to reply to requests, and of all the personal data included in the message and entered in the registration fields.

Dedicated information notices will be reported or displayed on the pages of the website in place for special services upon request (“Registration”, “Work with us”, “Newsletter”) where the user is required to enter personal data.

We invite users, in their requests for services or in their queries, not to send names or other personal data of third parties, unless strictly necessary.

LEGAL BASIS AND PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING OF THE DATA

The legal basis of the processing of navigation data is to pursue the legitimate interests of the Data Controller with regard to the management of the site; such data may, therefore, be processed in order to:

–       provide access to the website and ensure it can be browsed;

–       make sure that the website operates correctly;

–       protect the security of the website (anti-spam filters, firewall, detection of viruses) and of the users;

–       retrieve anonymous statistical information on the use of the website.

Navigation data may also be processed in order to ascertain the possible liability in the case of offences committed to the detriment of the website, of the Data Controller or of third parties.

HOW THE DATA IS PROCESSED AND RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

The data collected through the site www.rubvalves.com will be subject to processing in writing and/or with paper-based, magnetic electronic or telematic media, with tools suitable to guarantee the confidentiality and the security of said data in compliance with the provisions of the EU Regulation (especially with reference to articles 24, 32 and 35).

The personal data acquired will be processed based on the principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency and by protecting the confidentiality and the rights of the user.

Only common personal data will be processed.

The data supplied will not be disclosed and transferred to third parties before obtaining the effective and unequivocal consent to the processing from the data subject.

The personal data may be disclosed to personnel directly authorised by the Controller pursuant to art. 29 of the EU Reg., as well as to persons specifically appointed as Data Processors pursuant to art. 28 of the EU Reg. by the Data Controller; such persons shall include, for example, Companies related to, partly owned by RuB Srl and/or the parent Companies of RuB Srl (list available from the Data Controller).

No data profiling activities shall be carried out.

 

CONSEQUENCES OF THE NON-PROVISION OF DATA BY THE USER

Mere access to the website shall result in the acquisition by the administrator of navigation data that is, therefore, mandatory, as it is fundamental for the operation of the site.

The provision of data supplied voluntarily by the user (for example, by sending an e-mail to the contacts on the website or completing the “Registration” section) is optional and aims solely at following up the user’s requests; therefore, the non-provision of data makes it impossible for RuB Srl to reply or for the user to register to the website.

 

PERIOD OF STORAGE OF THE DATA

Navigation data will be stored, in conformity to the provisions of the current applicable rules and regulations, for a period of time that does not exceed the period necessary for the achievement of the purposes for which the data is processed.

Data supplied willingly by the user shall be used for the time that is strictly necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which it was collected

 

PLACE OF STORAGE OF THE DATA

The processing associated with the aforementioned purposes shall be performed at the registered office of RuB Srl, inside the European Union.

 

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECTS

The user concerned by the personal data shall have the right to request and obtain, at any time, by the Data Controller, access (art. 15 of the EU Reg.), rectification (art. 16 of the EU Reg.) and erasure of (the so-called “right to be forgotten”) (art. 17 of the EU Reg.) his/her personal data. The user shall also have the right of restriction of the processing of the personal data (art. 18 of the EU Reg.), the right to the portability of data (art. 20 of the EU Reg.), as well as the right to object, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of the data (art. 21 of the EU Reg.).

In any case, the user shall have the right to submit a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority, as set out in art. 77 of the EU Reg., or the right to an effective judicial remedy pursuant to art. 79 of the EU Reg. if he/she believes that the processing of the personal data that concern him/her was performed in violation of the provisions of the EU Reg.

AMENDMENTS TO THIS INFORMATION NOTICE

This Privacy Policy may be subject to updates or amendments, especially in connection to the entry into force of any new directives of the competent Authority.

The date at the start of the Information Notice shall indicate the date of the last update.

The website uses Social Plugins (YouTube, Instagram), i.e. parts of the page visited by the user generated directly from websites managed by third parties and integrated into the page of the host website.
