National Made in Italy Day is celebrated on April 15 every year, dedicated to promoting Italian creativity and excellence. The date was chosen to coincide with the birthday of Leonardo da Vinci, one of Italy’s most iconic figures and one of history’s greatest geniuses, who embodies Italian know-how.
Established by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), this national day celebrates the country’s rich industrial heritage and recognizes the vital role Italian companies play in the global economy. Despite the challenges faced in 2025, Italy still has a strong presence in international trade, ranking as the fourth-largest exporter worldwide. The Made in Italy label continues to stand for a globally recognized “brand” representing superior quality, technical expertise and a long tradition of innovation.

For over 70 years, we have upheld Italian engineering and manufacturing excellence, providing precision brass ball valves and actuators for HVAC systems, plumbing, gas, pneumatic, and drinking water applications in industrial, domestic, and commercial settings.
Founded in 1954 by Silvio Bonomi in Lumezzane, near Brescia (Italy), our Italian HQ began as a small manufacturer of brass components intended for the Italian agricultural market. Through decades of commitment and expertise, the company has grown into a global reference in the valves and actuators industry, serving customers in over 57 countries while keeping all production in Italy as a guarantee of quality and excellence.
A key step in this international growth was the establishment of RuB, Inc. in 1994, our wholly owned U.S. subsidiary. For more than 30 years, RuB, Inc. has played a strategic role in expanding our presence in North America. Acting as a bridge between Italian manufacturing and local markets, RuB, Inc. ensures responsive service, technical support, and the consistent delivery of Made in Italy quality.
