In valve automation systems, finding the perfect equipment that guarantees streamlined and reliable performance can be challenging. Frequent operational cycles, difficult access, safety concerns, and the need for precise control all add to the complexity. The new RuB Electric Actuator CP8 meets these demands with a compact yet powerful design that automates fluid management.

The RuB CP8 is the result of extensive in-house research and development. It retains the best features of its predecessor, withstanding up to 100,000 cycles and operating in environments up to 80°C. However, it offers new enhancements:

  • expanded motor options, including 6 V DC and brushless motors for greater flexibility and performance.
  • smart and compact design for easy installation, even in limited spaces, making it particularly effective in applications where valves are hard to reach.
  • improved position indicator’s visibility for better monitoring.
  • increased torque of 8 Nm (71 in.lb), +60% compared to the previous model.
  • easy connection and direct mounting on ISO-5211 ball valves.
  • robust gearbox with an IP65 (NEMA 4x) casing for long-lasting durability.

RuB CP8’s versatility makes it ideal for a wide range of applications, from energy and HVAC systems to water treatment facilities. Its high accuracy and reliability ensure consistent operations, which are crucial for maintaining quality and sustainability standards across various sectors. For example, in automated dosing systems in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

Additionally, the CP8 actuator is fully compatible with our range of RuB ball valves. In detail, we can supply:

  • s.31 NPT: mini, 2 ways, quick connect mounting kit included, from 1/4” up to 3/4”.
  • s.64 low torque NPT: full port, interface with ISO 5211 valve, from 1” up to 1 ¼’’.
  • s.64 NPT: full port, interface with ISO 5211, from 1/2” up to 1”.
  • s.65 NPT: full port, interface with ISO 5211, from 1/2" up to 1 ¼’’.
  • s.76 NPT: 3 way 2 seats with L-port, from 1/2" up to 1”.
